Saddleback routs visiting San Diego Mesa, 56-23

The Saddleback women's basketball team earned its first win of the season Friday night in a 56-23 win over San Diego Mesa.
San Diego Mesa shot only 18 percent from the field.
The Gauchos allowed just six points at the half.
Johnondra Patterson led the way for the Gauchos. She collected a double-double, with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Lindsey Sundin had 12 rebounds for the Gauchos. Keshia Moore finished with 13 points on the evening, making six of nine shots from the floor.
The Gauchos' record now stands at 1-3 on the young season.
The Gauchos have this week off in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday and will take the court again Tuesday by hosting Southwestern College at 5:30 p.m.
