Gauchos quarterback, Sebastian Trujillo proved on Saturday exactly what a player needs to do to get Athlete of the Week honors.
The sophomore from Durango, CO led the charge against a Pasadena squad that boasted the top-ranked offense and defense in the mission conference and came away with a comeback victory for the ages.
He scored the Gauchos' first touchdown of the night on a 35-yard run and accumulated 181 yards passing and 87 yards on the ground.
He finished the game with 5 touchdowns in all, with 3 through the air and 2 using his legs to upset the Lancers after a 24-point deficit in the second half of play.
