With two of their stars out, the Lasers were looking for someone to step up and carry the team, especially in terms of points and rebounding. The Lasers fell short to Riverside 78-69 but Ashley Dunn stepped up her game for the short-handed Lasers.

The 5'7'' freshmen guard from Ocean View High School, coming off knee surgery last season, had 16 rebounds and 12 points on Friday and is becoming one of the Lasers' most dynamic players.
