One victory from the Lasers first trip to the state tournament, one IVC men's basketball player did all he could to make that trip possible.
Sophomore Jason Toney from El Dorado High School had 16 points on 6-7 shooting, including a perfect 3-3 from three-point range.
His efforts were not enough, as the Lasers fell to LA Trade Tech, 84-81, to end their season.
