After its 13-match win streak was snapped by a home upset to Palomar College on Wednesday, Irvine Valley's men's volleyball team found redemption though both a 3-1 victory at Grossmont College and the performance of Peter Johnson.
The sophomore outside hitter led Friday's match with 27 kills, five digs and one ace.
After a bye-week, the Pacific Coast Champion Lasers will head to the IVC-hosted state semifinals on April 24.
