Irvine Valley College women's soccer had what looked like a rough season on paper with a record of 2-14-4, but it was actually a good season for a team still building.

Breaking a 20 game losing streak and improving a upon a 1-18 record last season, the Lasers proved that a good coach and solid work ethic can change a teams ability.

In a league as competitive as the south coast league, its hard become a powerhouse in a year.
