Saddleback cross country team, consisting of 10 sophomores and 18 freshman, did well this season, placing runners in the top 25 in many of their races at various meets.

Women's freshman standout, Ines Flores posted a sixth-place finish in Surf City as well as ninth overall at the Gaucho's Fresno meet. She also finished 11th, with a time of 19:11 on the five-kilometer course for the Southern California regional championship.

The men's season was lead by freshman, Matt Van Dyke, who took 28th overall out of 221 runners at the regional championship with a time of 22:02 over the four-mile course.
