IVC music show delivers a swell performance

Irvine Valley College Fall Music Showcase shows off their accomplishments and what they have been working on Sunday night with a performance with guitars, windpipes, brass and trumpets.

They also had a group of sopranos and tenors performing a number of pieces by baroque and classical composers.

The pieces performed were composed from students from the IVC Chorale, Wind Orchestra and Jazz programs.

The newer guitar program has been thriving lately and the duets done by the students came out wonderfully.

The music program at IVC has been growing with the new building in place with many talented musicians being produced semester.

The music program encourages students of all musical backgrounds to learn more about music at IVC.

Opportunities are availabe for students of all skill levels.
